Russian spy satellite shadows Ukrainian Iceye X36 in unprecedented close approaches

Russia's classified Kosmos 2612 has repeatedly approached Iceye X36, a commercial SAR satellite leased to Ukraine's armed forces, in an unprecedented orbital maneuver. The close passes suggest possible reconnaissance or jamming intent, though no intercept or damage is reported. This marks a notable escalation in space-based counterspace activity directly tied to the Ukraine conflict.
