Syria arrests drug network leader in Homs, seizes Captagon; 157 ops in month

Syrian authorities arrested a drug trafficking network leader in Homs and seized Captagon and hashish, part of a broader crackdown that foiled operations from Lebanon and dismantled 30 networks in a month. The scale of the campaign suggests a sustained counter-narcotics push, but details on the network's size and regional connections remain unclear. This matters as Syria remains a key transit hub for Captagon, with regional implications for smuggling routes.
