Lommel imposes temporary ban on alcohol and open fires in Velbo nature reserve

The city of Lommel has enacted a temporary police ordinance prohibiting alcohol, barbecues, and water recreation at the Velbo lake to mitigate persistent littering and public nuisance. The measures are effective immediately and will remain in place through September 2026.
