Nigerian herbal medicine research hindered by funding and infrastructure deficits

The Nigerian Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA) reports that systemic funding shortages and inadequate research infrastructure are impeding the scientific validation and clinical integration of traditional herbal medicines.
