Belgian firms Safran Aero Boosters and BMT Aerospace to supply F-35 engine components

Belgian manufacturers Safran Aero Boosters and BMT Aerospace have secured a contract with Pratt & Whitney to produce components for the F135 engine powering the F-35 Lightning II. The agreement, finalized at the Farnborough International Airshow, integrates Belgian industrial capacity into the global F-35 supply chain. This development strengthens Belgium's defense industrial base and deepens its alignment with the F-35 program.
