Telenor core network outage disrupts Norway's trains and emergency services

A major Telenor core network failure has caused a nationwide halt of train traffic and severe disruption to emergency services in Norway. The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) has convened a national crisis meeting, and Nkom has raised its alert level, citing unspecified security concerns related to Telenor, though a direct link to the current outage remains unconfirmed. The root cause and full scope of the outage are currently unclear, but the incident is impacting critical national infrastructure and public safety.
