Chihuahua Senate race: Chávez hits back at Sheinbaum over early-campaign criticism

Andrea Chávez, a Morena senator and gubernatorial hopeful in Chihuahua, responded indirectly to President Sheinbaum's criticism of her early-campaign tactics using ambulances bearing her image. The exchange signals internal friction within Morena over campaign conduct ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial race. The dispute is notable as it pits a prominent female politician against the sitting president, potentially affecting party unity and primary dynamics.
