Serbia activates EU Civil Protection Mechanism to combat wildfires in Deliblatska peščara

Serbia has requested and received international aerial firefighting support via the EU Civil Protection Mechanism to address wildfires in the Deliblatska peščara region. The deployment of helicopters from four EU member states marks an escalation in response efforts to contain spreading fires and prevent further environmental damage.
