EU deploys firefighting assistance to Serbia as wildfires intensify

Serbia has activated the EU Civil Protection Mechanism to combat four major wildfires currently burning across the country. Romanian and Czech firefighting teams, including a Romanian Black Hawk helicopter, have been deployed to support local emergency management efforts.
