EU deploys liaison officer to Serbia to coordinate emergency firefighting support

EU Ambassador Andreas von Beckerath confirmed the arrival of a liaison officer to facilitate coordination between EU firefighting assets and Serbian authorities. The deployment follows the arrival of international aerial and ground firefighting teams to assist with ongoing wildfire suppression efforts in the country.
